2024 Fort Lauderdale FOP Police Officers Memorial

Yesterday, our community and law enforcement family came together at Esplanade Park to honor the bravery and ultimate sacrifice of the 13 valiant officers of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. The annual memorial service was a somber yet profound tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty.


As each officer's name was solemnly called, a rose was placed atop a wreath, symbolizing our enduring respect and remembrance. These moments remind us of the deep personal losses behind each name:

These officers, who span generations, each left a legacy of valor, having dedicated their lives to the safety and protection of our community. They remind us of the profound connection between the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the community it serves.

We cherish their heroism and selflessness, as their memories continue to inspire and guide us. As we reflect on their sacrifices, let us all carry forward their spirit of service, ensuring their legacies are not forgotten.
