The FOP Insurance Trust Fund was formed in March, 2001 to obligate the City and the members of the FOP to make payments into a trust fund for the benefit of those employees and their beneficiaries represented by the FOP. The FOP Lodge 31 Health Trust also establishes and maintains through the Trust Fund a plan, fund or program to provide dental, medical, surgical and hospital care or benefits and group life and/or accidental death and dismemberment insurance for its participants.
